Here are the Ormes

I'm horrible at staying in touch with friends and family even though I LOVE getting updates from everyone else. I've decided to repent and change my ways, so here goes nothing. Let's get us to today.
Tom has just taken his last final!!! He has now finished 2 years of dental school. For those who haven't heard from us in awhile, after his first year of dental school, Tom had to take a year off due to medical reasons and then had to come back, doing his first year of dental school all over again. So now, 4 years later, he has the last 2 years of dental school left. Hopefully the time will go by quickly and be a little less stressful as he will be in the clinic working with patients for most of the time and not studying and taking tests all of the time.

As for me, I am at home with our 3 girls. My life is divided between taking care of the girls, taking care of Tom, running the house, and fulfilling my church callings as Laurel Advisor and ward organist.
Shelby is our 5 year old. She loves to watch TV, play XBox, read books, help Mom, and play with her sisters. Her biggest excitement is that she will be starting Kindergarten. We visited her school in April. After the tour, she told me that she got to visit the library, but that she wasn't able to read ALL the books. I'm sure she'll try to read them all if she can!! She also loved the computer room where they had "like 50 computers." She is ready, but I'm not too sure Tom and I are.

Taylor is our 3 year old. Her big news is that she
is now potty trained. We had tried many times previously to potty train to no avail. A few weeks ago, she wanted me to change her diaper because she had just peed and wanted a new diaper. I told her that if she didn't like it, it would be a lot easier if she'd just wear panties and go on the potty. Her reply was, "Okay." I had given up on potty training her long ago, so I was quite shocked at this revelation. It is now about 3 weeks later, and she is officially a big girl. No more diapers. Her favorite thing is to play. She loves collecting things and feeding us "food" and playing with her sisters.

Finally, there's Payden. She just had a birthday the other day and is now a 1 year old. It's hard to believe, but she is definitely ready to be big. She LOVES her sisters and always wants to be involved. She loves to take things out of places and put them back (especially the laundry). She has the quickest hands and grabs everything. She loves to hug and has been known to attack Grayson, a boy from church who is a month older than her, with lots and lots of hugs, smushing him in the process.

So here we are in San Antonio . . . finishing dental school and raising a family. We look forward to keeping in touch with you!!
