I went out with the girls to take Shelby to school. Shelby went to open her door, and I hear this weird noise and Shelby making a surprised sound. I look up and there's no glass in her window and I realize the weird noise was the sound of glass falling to the ground. At first I wasn't sure what had happened, but eventually as I looked around I noticed the glove compartment is open, the iPod is gone, stuff's out of place . . . our car got broken into. I hate it. It just feels weird to know someone broke in our car. Fortunately there wasn't much to steal except the iPod and the iPod radio converter. But now instead of a day at home doing laundry and cleaning up (because I've been busy all week long and I'm way behind on things), I've had a morning of calling insurance, window repairmen, the police . . . What makes me most sick is that Tom had pictures of us on his iPod. I HATE knowing that's in someone else's hands. AHHHHHH!!!!! After getting the window fixed, I will definitely be getting an alarm put on our car. I just hate this. What's next?!?!?!?!

Bring it On!!!!!!
Okay really . . . don't. It all just needs to stop. The girls finally stopped meds last night. Taylor and Payden are still not sleeping through the night after the whole RSV thing. I'm waiting for everything to get a little more normal, but still I've been feeling much better about things . . . a little hopeful that we might return to a normal life . . . and then last night had to happen.

I am so sorry. It really bites when your car gets broken into. I can't believe how sick the girls have been. I really hope you get a break.
Seriously, Rachel. You guys have all the luck! Ummmmm...thanks for your service by taking all the bad luck for all of us? :)
Rachel and Tom!!! You guys need to be coming up on a break in life soon! That's how the first 6 months or so of last year was for me. It was just one thing after another and IT GETS OLD! BUT I do know that it gets better. I know those exact feelings you are having about feeling violated. That is how I felt when my wallet got stolen. I had a hard time going out at night (even though it happened during the day) just because I felt invaded beyond belief. It's something you can't explain until it happens to you. I am so sorry!! Things will get better though...I promise. I hope they catch that punk that broke in to your car!
Rachel, that just plain sucks! I am so sorry. Like Jaime, hopefully they catch the punk!
What can you say? Oh-I am sorry. I guess Tom wants an ipod for x-mas. It makes you really wonder if it was worth breaking into for an ipod. You probably would have handed it over to them (deleted pictures)instead of the window, insurance, fiasco. At least no guns were involved like Houston BUT still....your in the eye of the storm-You should be pulling out of it soon?!!! Keep us posted
Y'all have not been having good luck lately! I just can't believe people break into for an I-Pod! Paul got his car broken into on our wedding day and they stole our radar detector. He was so bummed he had taken out his computer, because then the school would have replaced it if it had gotten stolen too. Anyways, I hope you get some better luck and get time to do things You want to do!
Oh that stinks! I am so sorry. You guys have had it rough! When everything calms down a bit and the girls are all better I would love to come watch them so you and Tom could go on a date. I am serious, figure out a good time, before or after Christmas and give me a call. I will come over there. You guys deserve it!
Oh--that stinks!!! I hope you guys are all at least feeling better. I can't believe how low someone would be to do that to your car! UGG! It reminds me of the day in Houston when Jim went out to get in our car & it was G-O-N-E! Some bright individuals took it to rob a laundromat & on a high speed chase with the police. I just don't understand what drives people to do stuff like that. I'm sorry that you've had to deal with that! (cute background as always though =)
poor Rachel!!!!! It absolutly sucks having your car broken into!!! Even though it has NEVER happened to us! Bad luck just keeps coming your way!!! well see ya keep everyone posted!!!
