Your Help Needed . . .

Okay, so Tom and I are not good at picking out names. It took us FOREVER to pick Shelby's name, and it was absolutely the only name we could both agree on. With Taylor and Payden, a friend picked those out for us and as soon as we heard them that was it. So here we are with another baby to name (and a boy at that) and we cannot find ANYTHING we like. We have 2 criteria . . .

1. It has to flow with the girls' names. Shelby, Taylor, Payden, and _________.

2. It has to go with his middle name. ___________ Thomas Orme.

So we are asking for your help in just thinking of some possibilities. Now, we can't guarantee that we'll pick any of these names, but we would definitely appreciate some help in thinking of names because in all honesty . . . we are STUMPED.

Thanks ahead of time for your help, and we're definitely curious to see what you come up with.

Madison votes Russell. I think Ryan is a GREAT name and it goes so well with Thomas!!! We are horrible at choosing names too-it was a good thing that Jeremy knew what to name Ryan or he would still be nameless! Good luck!

Good luck with this, how great to put it into the hands of friends. They've done good in the past!
These are a couple boy names that I like...Andrew, Matthew or Royce.
If any of them are just ugh to you, I apologize.
I hope you find what you are looking for.

Yeah, good luck. Boy names are pretty hard (at least for us!) Tom's name is Thomas Ryan right? I think it would be cute to just flip it and call the new little guy Ryan Thomas Orme. And of course we LOVE the name Ryan:) That way, since it's your only boy, you can keep Tom's complete name in the family.

Craig's suggestion....Greg Thomas Orme so his initials are GTO:)

Good Luck!

Aaron Thomas Orme.

Your welcome.

P.S
I was kidding about the whole "youre welcome" thing.

OK so after having to FIND 3 boys names we agree on as well-here is some, and I am sure I will think of more!
Grayson, McCoy, Garrett, Jarett, Rhett (can you tell I like the rett thing), Kade, Jaxon, Dawson, Ashton, Landon, Rylie or Ryland ( a funked version of Ryan), Stetson hmmmm.... I'll get back to you-- I am probably giving away our favorites, just in case....there is another boy BUT we DON:T care!

I really like Garrett. I don't know if I will ever name a kid that because it isn't Andy's favorite. GOod luck!

I like Derek and I think that flows well with both of the criteria :)

Brian spelled Breyon would fit your two syllable, six letter with a y pattern. I know you think that name is awesome or Bryson or Camdyn, Carsyn, Colwyn- these are all a stretch and I got tired after the C names

Carlee has had to spell her first and last name out for anyone who ever had to write her name down, so she recommends at least giving children one name that most people can spell without asking. Carlee makes exceptions for uncommon names as long as the spelling of them makes sense.

Exhibit B: Our sister Michalle (pronounced "Michelle"). I think she's considered changing her name to its correct spelling several times.

Here are some names that we like that our friends have recently used:

-Preston
-Carson
-Carter
-Beckett (this breaks the spelling rule)
-Atticus (this one is a little over the top)

Here are some names we considered for Jack:

-Graham
-Paul
-Jude (unfortunately it sounded like "Jew" when said with our last name Dynes)
-Owen (this one sounded like "Owe 'em Dimes" when said with our last name)
-Ben
-Sam
-Phillip

O.k. so I have thought about this and I really like Owen ,Wyatt, or Jackson.

Yeah, it took us until they kicked us out of the hospital to come up with a name for Ben, and about 12 hours to come up with Adam, so we're no good with names for ourselves. BUT, how about Daniel, Dallin, Braden or Andrew - all 6 letters, 2 syllables (if that helps the flow of names at all)? Good luck!

P.S. I love Shelby's poem - I especially love it with the picture. Thanks for sharing! :)

sorry--no ideas, but I know that whatever you end up with will be SUPER cute cuz I love ALL the names of your girls! =)

Oh the joys of naming your child. It wasn't until we were filling out the Social Security application for Josh that we finally decided on the name. Everyone likes different names, but a few suggestions are Daniel, William, Dallin, or Ethan. They all have two syllables. Of course, you could always go with the name Troy always joked about Tyrone Jamal. I kept telling him it wouldn't make our kid faster or stronger, but maybe it will for you.

We think Scott would be the best name ever, besides, Scott Thomas Orme just flows so well.

We also like (well, I also like) Chandler, Conner, Alex, Trevor, and if I think of any more I'll let you know.

Scott likes Max, and Vladamir (Vlad for short). Scott thought it would be fun to name him You (last name pronounced wrong Or-Me). Haha.

Good luck!

Wow. You have had some great suggestions already. I don't even think I need to add anymore, although Justin would probably recommend the name "Sledge". It kind of flows... "Shelby, Taylor, Payden & SLEDGE." Then again maybe not. Good luck!!!

Go with something original. That way, when he googles himself later on in life (which we all inevitably do. C'mon, you know you do), he won't have to sift through a whole bunch of other folks with his same name.

Brickle, Maxsome, Twartley, Smoof, Budson, Granard

AH! Neal wrote that last comment, not me!!

What a goof! It's funny, though, so I won't delete it.
