If I Go Crazy . . . You'll Know Why

AHHHH!!! Well, I was hoping to get caught up on blogging this week (I still haven't blogged about Halloween or anything else since) as well as a whole list of other things. We've been sick off and on all month long. This past week the girls have had runny noses and little coughs and congestion, which I figured were just little colds . . . nothing too big . . . something I can handle. Well, this weekend it got worse (fevers, earaches, horrid coughing fits, etc.). Today we were off to the doctor to see what was going on . . . RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus), which has caused ear infections (Shelby - 2, Taylor - 2, Payden - 1) and bronchiolitis (all 3). We'll be loading up on meds (8 prescriptions) and hopefully it'll help the girls out. Unfortunately, RSV is really nasty and lasts 2 to 3 weeks as well as highly contagious the first 4 to 5 days. I guess there goes my week or 2 or 3. So until then . . .

Rachel!! I want to cry for you! Or with you, or something! That is HORRIBLE! I bet you can't wait to move. I seriously think there is something wrong with the air in that area or something. This is the first fall/winter we haven't really been sick. The time before that was before we moved to SA. Is that really by chance?? Goodness sakes. Well, we will keep you in our prayers!! Good luck with all of that. I hope the ward has been bringing you meals!!! If not, you need to crack some heads!

I think at this point, based on your last two posts you can/should definitely cry. Let it all out. I really hope that you all get over this as quickly as possible. I would suggest moving somewhere cold where nothing survives--no germs at all! Good luck and you're in our thoughts and prayers!

Rachel, I just feel so horrible for you! Is there anything I can do like go grocery shopping for you or make a meal? You may not want one after that last one. I'll try making something I know how to do. Well, I hope you survived Thanksgiving! We missed you at church on Sunday.

By the way, your blog looks amazing! You are so talented!

Rachel,
Now that I can finally put the name with the face and the kids with the name and face I know who you are :) We sure missed your girls in Nursery today. We only had 4 kids, so I guess you're not the only one with sick kids. I sure hope your little ones get better soon, you're in our prayers!

Holy cow that stinks! Didn't you guys all have RSV a couple of years ago too? That stinks. Well I hope you are over it by this time, but we will keep you in our prayers just in case.
