I lay him down. Put a blanket over his feet. The whole time he is just waiting for the end moment . . . for me to put his birdie blanket over his face. Often he has hands up there to grab it. Other times he immediately rolls over. Occasionally he is so conked out that he just leaves it there. Tom came in and saw this and told me, "Rachel, that's just wrong."

It's Just Wrong
I'm not sure how it happened. I used to just put the blanket next to his face. Somehow it evolved into this . . .

I love that picture. It is funny to see how kids like to sleep sometimes!
Emma's got some interesting positions too, though most of hers involve no blanket at all, despite the number of times we try to cover her up.
Oh my goodness that is so funny!...(as long as he can breath of course =). haha what a crack-up!
Glad to know I'm not the only one who inadvertently suffocates their child!
I remember when I use to swaddle the boys and some of them would slip down into the swaddle of blanket and totally be covered!! ha ha ha Its funny... but wrong
You're in so much trouble!!! ...I heard you guys aren't moving here after all... WHAT? I'm in total denial... how can this be? I'm just giving you a hard time but I will say that I am a bit sad. What about our plans to make hair bows together? haha! So are you guys staying put in Utah? Tom found a practice there? That's the most important thing... Tom having work and you guys being in a place where you feel stable. Let me know how things are.
P.S. You're way overdue for a blog update so I tagged you on my blog. :)
That's so funny! That reminds me of Paul, he can't go to bed without the pillow covering his head!
It's so weird to know you are gone! It's sad to know your not in San Antonio any more, none of us are. I hope things are going well!
