I'd just finished giving the girls a bath and was going to dress Payden. She snapped up her pjs and ran across the room, saying, "I do it." I sat and watched as she attempted to get herself dress.
She did okay with one sleeve, but the other she couldn't figure out what had gone wrong. She kept trying to put it up over shoulder like it was supposed to, but it kept falling back down.
When she went to put her pants on, she initially had both legs in the same hole; of course I wasn't able to get the camera in time to snap that picture. She finally got it right, but was unable to get them over her diaper. When she decided she'd finished, she excitedly yelled to me, "I did it!"
So here we have it - a onesie on backwards with one arm coming out the neck hole, pants that aren't pulled up over her bum, and one proud 2 year-old who did it herself.
Unfortunately this has become the trend. She grabs her clothes and runs across the room where she tries FOREVER to get dressed. If I try to help her, she throws a FIT; sometimes though I do have to step in because she just can't get it. I guess that's life with a 2 year-old!
