Blessing Day

Well today was a momentous occasion . . . Declan was given his baby blessing. Even though Tom was a bit overwhelmed and not looking forward to doing it (he has a hard time knowing what to say, which I completely understand), Tom did a wonderful job as he always does. After church, we went to the backyard to take pictures as we've alwas done after each blessing. This was supposed to just be Declan, Tom, and me, but we had a sneaky little girl pop into the picture at the last second.

Now Nana and Papa with the grandbabies. It's kind of weird to think that I have just under half of the grandbabies in my family although that number will definitely be decreasing as my parents have been getting about 2 new grandbabies each year and the next one is due within the next few weeks.

Finally, we have Declan, the blessing boy.
