In the corner of the yard, they dug a hole for the fire pit.
Next to the fire pit, they dug a hole for the trampoline. With a house FULL of people, it was perfect timing because there were lots of hands to help put the trampoline in. Initially, Jeremy, Ally, Max, and Ryan were out there working.
Eventually, just about everyone ended up outside to either watch or help out.

The girls loved watching and were so excited to finally be getting the trampoline in.

Payden loved being outside, but mostly LOVED holding Andrea's dog Duc.

He was such a trooper and just calmly let her hold him and carry him around. It was too cute, and Payden was in heaven. If Francis would let Payden hold her, this would happen every day, but the most Francis allows Payden to do is pet her, but she barely even tolerates that. Needless to say, Payden took every opportunity she could to hold and cuddle Duc.

Even Taylor got in on the fun.

Getting the trampoline together took a bit longer because we didn't read the instructions at first. Go figure. Initially we started hooking up the springs on one side and tried moving around the circle. We got to a point where we could not get the springs attached no matter what. Finally we had the brilliant idea to read the instructions. Don't know why we didn't do it in the first place, but we were definitely not doing the springs correctly. After reading the instructions, we found the right way, which was the only way, to get the trampoline up and all the springs attached. In no time, it was ready to go. The girls took a solo turn first.
While I waited for my turn, I took a shot of the rocks that were installed next to the trampoline. On the hill above the rocks is where the firepit will sit.
Finally it was my turn. It's been awhile, and I was definitely too chicken to do a flip. It's been too long, but I did some bum drops, as we called them. Not a flattering picture, but it was fun to jump on a trampoline again.
Ryan took a turn as well and had no problem doing a flip.
Maybe one of these days I'll get enough courage. It took some hard work, but it was so gratifying to see the end result, and we had fun doing it as one BIG family.
