Hammin' It Up

Months ago I was in the car sitting next to Declan so I could feed him. I started playing around with him and he ended up closing his eyes and making a silly face that had me laughing my head off. He decided he enjoyed making me laugh, so since then he has started doing this to get me laughing.

On this day he was playing with his toys when I decided to take a picture of him, so he decided to start doing this . . .






I was dying. Every time he heard the click of the button and saw the light from the camera he'd stiffen up and make this silly face.

That happened to be the day he discovered his tongue, so a few days later when he wanted to get me to laugh, he decided to add something to his silly face . . .



Again, I just ended up laughing my head off.

Then one night Shelby was playing with Declan right before bedtime and he decided to do this . . .


Since we thought that was funny, he decided he needed to make his silly face on top of that to see if he could keep us laughing.




Since Declan started being silly with his pacifier and started getting lots of laughs from us, Payden decided she'd try it too . . .




I am so glad Declan has gotten his dad's ability to make people laugh. We are constantly laughing at him and his silly faces and silly antics. I am so grateful for his goofiness and the smiles and happiness it brings our family.
