2 Year Old Craft Project

I was talking with Tom online (he's out of town right now). We were finishing the conversation when I looked up to check on the kiddos. At that moment, I noticed Payden taking a bottle of water, dumping it into a cup, then dipping her hand into the cup, and wiping her wet hands all over the pumpkins on the table. I quickly told her to stop, and that's when I noticed the walls . . .

Apparently after she'd rubbed the pumpkins, she had then been rubbing her wet hands all over the wall. The paint from the pumpkins had been transferring from the pumpkins to her hands, so she was not just wiping water, but also paint all over the wall . . . ahhh!!! Somehow she had also opened some vanilla pudding and that was all over the wall and the pumpkins, too. I was sooooo worried we were going to end up with painted walls, again - Shelby painted the walls with water color when she was younger and it didn't come off. Fortunately, when I went to clean the walls, it all came off. Phew!!! I wonder what goes on in their little heads???

I joke that kid's minds just aren't wired right until about 5 or 6 when they start to understand things a little better. It's just one of those times where the parent is thinking, "what on earth???" Glad it came off though! That little stinker! I'm sure she was having the time of her life "painting"!!
