Declan is my one and only drooler. I've never, ever had one, but I absolutely love it. He'll sit there and just spit/blow raspberries over and over, enjoying the noise he's making I'm assuming. When he does that you'll often find him covered in spit bubbles.
Often he's just got this glistening chin. Unfortunately, all this drool often causes him to get a little rash. Still, I just get the biggest kick of it.
Another thing I love about Declan is how much he likes to hold on to things. He's always done this. Even when he was a month old, we'd go to pass him off to someone else and have to pry his hands open to get our shirts out of them. Of course with my hair being long, he always grabs my hair, and, now that he's older, he tries to eat it.

One of my favorites is when I put him into his carseat. I always buckle his chest buckle first followed by the one between his legs. By the time I've clicked the chest buckle, he's already grabbed the seat belt and his holding both sides in his two little hands. Of course he always grabs it right where I need to buckle him in between his legs, so I have to sit there and try to get him to let go or move his hands. It just makes me laugh every time.

I'll have to say that over the past years dental school has taken it's toll on me, but having Declan has helped me to enjoy the little things in life again.

In looking at the close-up of his drool, I see that Declan looks a lot like his sisters because of his eyes.
I think that's cute that he makes little spit bubbles. All my kids have drooled, but not cute spit bubbles!
Hope you guys are doing better. We can't wait to see how Shelby's b-day went. Josh has been asking about when there will be a post about it:)
he looks so much like Tom in that 2nd picture!
