Back to Austin

Well we headed back to Austin for another quick trip. It's nice to let the kids out and run around and enjoy the grounds and the history, but most importantly it's nice for Tom to get out of San Antonio. There are things at school that are COMPLETELY stressful, but yet he has no control of them, so as we get out of town, he can leave all of that in San Antonio. It really helps him relax and get a break from it all.

So Payden was wearing 2T clothes . . . a little too small I think! Haha.

They're so funny because they love to go somewhere, pose, and ask us to take pictures. I guess they've learned. :)

Tom's idea to have the strike a pose. They are too funny.

We were surprised to find this.

It's nice to find all of the different memorials for the different wars. I believe I had a great-grandfather serving a mission in Germany when WWI started . . . yeah not a good place to be at the time.

This was a memorial for the Korean War; Tom's dad served in this war.

We were so excited because it was finally cold enough for Declan to wear this outfit from his aunt Carlee and his uncle Adam. Since he's about out of 3-6 months clothes, we were sooooo worried he wouldn't get to wear it.

I loved watching this. It was too darling.

This is an example of what happened most of the times I tried to take a picture of Taylor . . . she'd run off. I love the motion caught in her hair.

I think this is what she was running away from. We have a shot of the girls on a bench in Fredericksburg that I love. Unfortunately, Taylor thought it was too funny to run away!

I think this memorial is dedicated to the South from the Civil War. Tom wasn't too excited about that.

Declan did a good job of just chillin' in the stroller.

Again the kiddos referred to it as the Capital Temple. Too funny.

Well, at least she let me get a shot of her face no matter how silly the face is!

We hadn't been walking around long when the girls decided they were just soooooo tired and ready to go back to the car.

We really enjoy little car trips and enjoy coming to Austin. It's a nice, relaxing trip as a family. You can't beat that!!

I'm glad the sweater still fits. I can't believe how giant Declan is. Jack was big to, but nothing like Declan. I also really like the picture of Shelby leaning against the wall with all the words. She looks beautiful and you can see her starting to look more and more grown up.

Love the 2T shirt. That is SO funny. Avery's 2T shirts already look like that and she's not even 2 quite yet!

I like how your girls enjoy going places. It seems like they always have so much fun just being out and with their family. Declan seems like such a good baby too!
