Coloring in the Bath

For Christmas, the girls got a couple of packs of bath crayons. We don't get to do them often because the girls end up taking well more than an hour in the tub. Today was Saturday, so it was the perfect time to do it.



Here's Taylor's section of the canvas. She can draw people and shapes and a few letters, but will only do it on request. She just loves to scribble everywhere.



What's a day without at least one fit from Taylor. This is Taylor in the middle of one. Of course, the bathtub fit is great because of the added splashing. I wish she could see what it does to that cute little face of hers.



Shelby ALWAYS draws a giraffe. It's her favorite thing to draw. She added an apple tree and even spelled apple on her own. Way to go Shelby!!!



Unfortunately, Shelby's pictures are so good-looking that they draw the attention of her baby sister. Of course Payden had to add her own touch, so Shelby decided to draw another giraffe to replace her Payden-colored one.



As for Payden, well she's quite the naughty girl in the bath. She looks fairly innocent here when really she's scooping up the water so that she can drink it. She does color some, but generally likes to blow bubbles, drink water, pour water outside of the bathtub, splash like crazy, and eat the bath crayons.



Here she goes to blow bubbles. She's pretty good at, especially since she picked it up on her own.



I know this picture is a little blurry, but Payden is also quite the fit thrower . . . especially if she's told no. This is the middle of the fit. When she first started, she dipped her face in the water in the middle of yelling, which created a HUGE amount of bubbles. Shelby, Taylor, and I busted up laughing. I was hoping to get her to do it again (it really was funny), but she wouldn't dip her face in . . . only the crying.



So here they are all done. Beautiful pictures!! I like seeing their drawings. Of course afterwards means clean up time, but they all get their own cloths and are great at cleaning it up. Fun day in the bath!!
