"On My Bday Tell Dr. Kubena Headaches"
Shelby has been getting really bad headaches at school. I had told her that she needed to remind me to tell Dr. Kubena, her pediatrician, when we go for her birthday checkup. She told me she needed to make note of that, so I guess this was her doing just that. Of course, I don't think she realizes that when you make note of something, you need to remember where you jot it down; she just knew she needed to write it down somewhere. What a funny girl.
Taylor - We went to our friend Cari's craft show. Taylor stayed behind with Cari while the rest of us walked around. Apparently, a lady came in to browse Cari's crafts, and Taylor started talking to her. She told her how she had one of the "Look What I Did Today" boards. She was telling the lady she needed to buy magnets, that these were cute, and so forth. She was really being quite the saleslady.
Later we were waiting in a restaurant and Taylor just starts talking to this couple. She was telling them she was a girl. Declan's a boy. Just talking to them about everyone in the room.
She is hilarious. I don't think she has any qualms about talking to strangers. She really just seems to be in her own little Taylor world. She does what she wants and follows her rules and not ours. Apparently striking up conversations with complete strangers is okay.
Payden - Once we started taking Shelby to school each day, Payden started asking me all the time, "Where we goin?" Of course, most of the time she asked we were going nowhere, so I'd reply, "We're goin nowhere." Payden would respond, "We goin nowhere?" And I'd say, "Yes, we're goin nowhere." So now, Payden announces all the time, "We goin nowhere." Even if I say we're going to Costco or somewhere else, she'll say, "No. We goin nowhere." It's hilarious. Other times when we're going somewhere, she'll ask, "We goin nowhere?" If I say yes and tell her where, she doesn't believe me and tells me, "No. We goin nowhere." It makes us laugh everytime we hear her say it.

That's pretty good for her age to pick up on the whole "jot it down" concept. Good Job Shelby! I need to get Josh to do that for ME as I'm ALWAYS forgetting something!! I'm at Wal-mart so often I might as well get a job there.
You may already know this, but Shelby's headaches could be the result of bad vision...has she had her eye sight checked at school?
That's pretty funny that she wrote you a note so you wouldn't forget...what a smart child :)
