Sunday Stroll

Despite it being summertime, we have had many wonderful days (and compared to Texas, this heat is wonderful). Anyways, it was a nice Sunday afternoon, and the girls and I were in a mood to take a stroll outside. Shelby also wanted to take pictures of where we live for her friend Emily. I laid Declan down for a nap, and we headed out. Taylor decided that her dog needed to go for a walk, too.

Tom had been busy solving a Rubik's Cube, so he brought it along.

Since Shelby was taking pictures for her friend Emily, she had a blast snapping a million pictures. I've already used the pictures we sent Emily in a post about where we live now, but she also enjoyed taking pictures of some of the flowers and other stuff around us.

Our destination was the neighboring cow farm. The girls love going to look at the cows, who also love looking at our girls. Tom saw our shadows on the road and had Shelby take a picture of us.

On our walks, one of the girls' favorite things to do is pick dandelions and blow them. They are always on the lookout for them.

There was a random family enjoying the outdoors that Shelby decided we needed a picture of. Tom and I laughed when we saw this on the camera.

It was a nice walk, and I'm so grateful that we live in such a beautiful place that makes you want to go outside and enjoy nature.
