Water Fountains at the Gateway

Since we were done at the planetarium and we were at the Gateway, we decided to walk around for a bit. We came upon the water fountains. Of course, the kids couldn't resist playing in them.

You can see who the more daring ones are. If you look over Madison's shoulder (the redhead in front), you can see Ryan and Taylor already running through, while Madison and Shelby slowly edge closer.


They really enjoyed the unexpected surprise of each water fountain bursting forth and always waited in anticipation.


Somewhere in all of this, Ryan got the grand idea to let the water hit him in the face. Wait for it . . .


Wait for it . . . Finally! We all got a good laugh out of that one.


We only stayed for a little bit, but in the end Ryan and Taylor were SOAKED! Since we were heading to Red Robin for lunch, we ended up buying them new clothes to wear. Fortunately, Old Navy was having a sale, and it was time to start buying new stuff for school anyways.
